I'd like to know what decision has been made regarding the lattices around the new decks. Also, when are the privacy dividers going to be installed between units? They have all been lying around on the grass for over a month now, and I thought they would be installing them along with the railings. Please update us.

Will there be a railing going down the stairs as well? As was with the old decks...
I'd like to take this opportunity to put a vote in for NO LATTICE!! I would also like to voice my opinion and agree and say the gate opening is very narrow. Our door opening is 36", the opening at the top of the stairs should at least match this!!
Alberta Bulding Code(2007):
Railings are required on decks more than 2 feet above grade.
In Alberta handrails are required on exterior steps with more than three risers.
Board - please confirm that the decks/rails are being built within code at your earliest convenience.
