1. Disconnect all outdoor hoses and bring them inside to prevent freezing.
2. Now is a good time to replace furnace filters and have your furnace professional cleaned.
3. Now is a good time to clean out all dying annuals and prepare perennials for the coming winter.
4. Any summer toys should be stored indoors.
5. Winter is coming and this is a good time to check your outdoor outlet to make sure it is working before the freezing Calgary weather hits!

I heard on the radio an add for a new condo recycling program business. It sounded quite good. The web site looks good too. I think our current program is working well, but it never hurts to see if the service is comparible for less. These guys donate any money from cans/bottles to local charities and you don't have to sort your recycling.

Thanks for the info on the new recyclying program. I did check out the website and had a chat with them. They do have a good program, however, I think our recycling needs are being met at this time and within our budget. I can add this to our new business at our next condo board meeting.
